ICCAC Reveals 2025 Division II Men’s Soccer All-Region Honorees and Award Winners
The 2025 All-Region selections and special awards for Division II Men's Soccer were released following a fantastic year that saw five ICCAC teams finish ranked within the top 20 in the NJCAA in the final poll. Iowa Lakes prevailed in one of the most competitive seasons Division II Men's Soccer has seen in the ICCAC, winning the Region 11 regular season, tournament and district title.
Atop the conference, the Lakers earned the most selections on the First Team All-Region list.
In midfield, Sam Storey earned First Team All-Region honors after controlling play and giving the Lakers command in most matches. Story scored two goals and assisted on three others in 18 games.
The Iowa Lakes back line stood out with Florent Lefebvre and Jeremy Köppe. Lefebvre earned his second First Team All-Region selection after another outstanding year in which he scored six goals and assisted on seven. Koppe was a lockdown defender throughout the season, playing in nearly every game.
Rounding out the Lakers' First Team selections was goalkeeper Louis Krüger, who led the team with 48 saves, seven shutouts and 10 wins.
Southeastern, which finished second in the conference standings, earned three First Team All-Region selections.
Angel Frias led the way for the Blackhawks, earning First Team recognition after recording nine goals and three assists. Joining him were teammates Louey Franks and Yota Ishikawa. Franks anchored the back line and added four goals, while Ishikawa controlled the midfield, tallying 17 points with six goals and five assists.
Central and Northeast each had two First Team All-Region selections.
For Northeast, Len Valkema was named the ICCAC Division II Men's Soccer Player of the Year after a standout season in which he scored 17 goals and added five assists. He led the conference in goals, ranked among the top 15 in the NJCAA and tied for the conference lead with 39 points.
Joining him on the First Team was Ty Giwa, a pivotal defender who helped the Hawks post the best defensive record in the conference, allowing only 14 goals. Giwa also contributed four assists.
For Central, Leo Morley-Robertson and Rodrigo Gete both earned First Team All-Region honors after strong 2025 campaigns. Morley-Robertson tied for the conference lead with 39 points, led the league in assists with 11 and ranked second in goals with 14. Gete contributed four goals and seven assists from midfield. Central, in their first year in the league, finished third in the standings.
Rounding out the First Team selections were Enzo Joly from Iowa Central, Luciano Cortes from Marshalltown and Charlie Eastwood from Western Iowa Tech.
To cap off the honors, Southeastern's Henrique Vieira was named the ICCAC Division II Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. In his first season, he guided the Blackhawks to a 7-1-2 conference record and a 12-3-3 overall mark. The team finished No. 5 in the NJCAA rankings and second in the ICCAC conference standings.
